Captivated by pretty people and things it’s no surprise that when the pretty boy came to the shrine Megumi was fascinated, the Gumiho could not help but follow him wanting to know more. He had intended to just find where the man was staying, maybe come across him “casually” and start a conversation but before the fox knew it he had packed a bag and was following the man to Korea, Seoul specifically and though he didn’t know it this would change his life for good.

Upon his arrival in the city it didn’t take long for him to be picked up by the secret societies lap dogs, the pretty boy he had followed lost in a moment of panic. Thrown into his first Auction Megumi was confused, lost and regretting his choices, his attraction to pretty things getting him into trouble and not for the first time. Though this time Megumi was actually quiet, not that he would be able to communicate if he tried he’d heard bits of Korean during his time at the shrines but not enough to be able to understand or communicate. He didn’t understand anything, not the words spoken to him nor the actions taken upon him. Sure he was a brat but he didn’t deserve to be locked up like a criminal did he?

He’s now alone (or so he thinks), without his home, his family, his friends or his shrines. Lost in a world he doesn't understand and had no idea existed. He’s not sure how to survive or if he even wants to but if he has any chance of getting back to his family he has to at least try right? He knows he can’t just give up, that’s not who he is. With the help of a Japanese speaking pet he learns about what is going on and figures out he’s being kept in pet housing to be sold to the highest bidder. Starting at 5,000 and a buy out of 15,000 was insulting for someone like him but what could he do about it right now. With the help of his new found friend he secured a job dancing at a place called Trois and enrolled in Korean classes, while he’s not proficient by any means he can at least hold a conversation now. He still isn’t sure if he wants to be owned or not but it can’t be worse than sharing a small dorm with 5 other people in tiny rooms and no privacy right?
